Fear the beard!

SO... for as long as I can remember I've been a GIANTS fan. I went to my first game when I was about five years old at Candlestick Park. Ever since then I have lived for giants baseball. My family loves sports whether it's college football, high school football, baseball, and every other sport in between. We always make it to a baseball series every year. This past memorial day weekend we watched our giants win, win, and win. We were even there to see my boy Buster Posey get brought up!

In the reflection is AT&T PARK!
 I love my giants :]

 Daddy's girl

So being a die hard giants fan was one of the many things me and my boyfriend have in common. Matt lived for his giants and he was a super fan. For Christmas last year I got him a gray giants hat with a white SF. Being the brat that he is, he told me... "He liked it, but he wouldn't have picked the color gray for himself." Looking back at pictures 90% of them have him wearing that damn hat. And I'm almost 99% positive that he had that hat on the night he passed. Matt told everyone that the giants were going to do it this year. That we were going to make it to the World series. After watching the final game last night I now know that Matt was right, and I'm sure he was at the game loving every minute of it. After his passing, countless hats were made & I'm starting to believe that there is some magic in those hats. Not only do they have the SF on the front but a piece of Matty on the back, maybe that's exactly what the giants need. Matt had a way of giving everyone a little more to live for. I wish more than anything I could have called him last night to hear him freaking out about "his team." I miss that stupid sports center update coming from his phone & him acting as if he is a part of the Giants team. I should have know that he is a part of the team, we all are a part of our teams. That's what makes sports so great & so special. Sports bring people together, they give us that feeling of hope, & leave us always wanting more. SO... as the series approached, make sure you are routing for the right team, MATT'S team, My team, OUR team.

GO GIANTS.
